Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky address Malta Parliament

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Malta’s Parliament recounting the heroic efforts of the Maltese during the Second World War.

He said the continued bombardment and blockade of Ukraine’s ports by Russian forces was having a major impact of food and grain exports which in turn would see prices rise world-wide.

President Zelensky appealed to the Maltese government to stop issuing passports to Russian nationals.

Prime Minister Robert Abela told him that the pain and suffering of the people of Ukraine was “not falling of deaf ears”.
