Two local councillors have resigned as members of the Nationalist Party.
Doris Borg resigned as Councillor of the Nationalist Party in Xgħajra and will remain in the Local Council as an independent Councillor.
Ivan Bartolo, a member of Paola Local Council, will remain as an Independent Councillor after resigning from the Nationalist Party shortly after the general election.
