A 15-year-old cyclist from Nadur was seriously injured after losing control of his bike and crashing near Ghajnsielem.
The youth was taken to Gozo General Hospital but later transferred by helicopter to Mater Dei Hospital.
The accident happened at around 7pm on Friday evening.
