€ 2 million investment in a pharmacy for St. Vincent de Paul

Spread over three floors, a building has been inaugurated in San Vincenzo de Paul that will be operating as a pharmacy, offices, as well as warehouses for medical and pharmaceutical products.

With an investment of around € 2 million, this pharmacy will serve 1,500 residents. This service will be reducing the burden on Mater Dei Hospital and other medical centers.

During the inauguration of this project, the Minister for the Elderly and Active Aging Michael Farrugia said that this will be a pharmacy that addresses the needs of the elderly. “The medical and pharmaceutical needs of the residents of St. Vincent de Paul are varied and complex, so the demand for them is growing,” he said.
