In response to the ongoing developments in Ukraine, the Ministry of Interior, National Security and Law Enforcement that it will be sending humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people through the Civil Protection mechanism.
The process used by the Department of Civil Protection to assist foreign countries in urgent need of humanitarian aid will now begin.
The Minister of the Interior, National Security and Law Enforcement Byron Camilleri explained that once again Malta will be offering urgent humanitarian assistance to the people of other countries who are going through difficult circumstances.
“The Department of Civil Protection is once again at the forefront of coordinating this type of assistance to other countries. Thanks to this work, our country will join many other Member States that are sending aid to Ukraine at this difficult time, “said Minister Camilleri.
