Official figures show that 117 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the latest 24 hour period while 301 recovered from the virus bringing down to 1,380 the number of active cases.
During the same period an elderly female patient died after testing positive for Covid-19.
There are now 41 patients in Mater Dei Hospital of whom 3 are in ITU.
