The government’s plan to rescue Air Malta have been slammed by the Opposition Nationalist Party, saying it “reflects the Labour government’s legacy of corruption and failure.”
The plan, which Finance Minister Clyde Caruana said is the final chance to keep the alr-line afloat, includes reducing the workforce by 50%.
Asked whether the PN agrees with the restructuring plan unveiled today, Deputy Leader Robert Arrigo said, “Sacking half of the workers and axing half of the routes, is no plan at all.”
