Prime Minister Robert Abela announced that the wage supplement will be extended beyond January.
Speaking on ONE Radio, he said that many jobs had been saved by the supplement and, thanks to it today Malta has its lowest rate of unemployment.
For this reason it was decided that the measure remains in force as long as necessary, to assist businesses and workers.
