Unbeaten so far this season, leaders Hibernians will be bidding to maintain that good run when they take on Balzan at Ta’Qali today.
Their nearest rivals, Valletta and Birkirkara both won on Saturday to narrow the gap to just two points for City and three for B’kara.
With Floriana losing to Sirens, Balzan can move up to fourth with victory over Hibernians.
Hibernians have been finding the net this season and have conceded only eight so far and if they maintain their current form should have enough firepower to notch up another win. But, football being football, nothing can be taken for granted.
In today’s other games, Hamrun Spartans play Sta Lucia and Gzira Utd meet Gudja Utd.
