Floriana, Valletta and Birkirkara will all be aiming for wins today as they try to close the gap on Premier leaders Hibernians.
Five points adrift, Floriana have a tricky match against Sirens who are currently lying mid-table.
Valletta won their appeal against Sliema Wanderers for fielding an ineligible players and the win for Sliema was overturned with the three points going to City. That decision moved them up to third, level on points with Floriana. Today Valletta play Mosta, another mid-table side who can cause problems for any opponent.
A further point behind are Birkirkara who today face bottom side Sliema Wanderers who will be fuming after having their win against Valletta overturned. Bottom or not, they should be fired up for today’s game.
League leaders Hibernians play Balzan on Sunday.
