The Met Office has issued an “Amber” weather warning as heavy rain and hail sweeps across the Maltese Islands.
Parts of the islands report severe flooding with cars being swept away in flash floods, rubble walls are reported to have collapsed causing hazards to drivers and route bus services have been affected.
The unsettled weather is expected to continue until later today.
