Health workers and teachers to get Covid booster jab as more easing of restrictions announced

Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne announced that the Covid vaccine booster will be given to health sector workers and teachers from the middle of next month, while 60 to 70 year-olds will get it from the middle of December.

Speaking in Parliament he said that social distancing will be removed for events of up to 300 vaccinated and masked seated persons. By mid-November this measure will be extended to standing events.
