A woman was grievously injured on Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident in Mgarr, the police said.
The accident took place in Sir Temi Zammit Street at 6.30pm.
Police report the woman apparently lost control of her car, crashed into a boat trailer and parked car before ending up in the front of a house.
The woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where her condition was described as grievous.
