BOV Premiership: Wins for B’Kara and Valletta

B’Kara sit top of the premiership following a 2-1 over Hamrum while a 1-0 win for Valletta against Balzan lifted them to second place on goal difference.

Soares put Hamrun in front after half an hour but B’Kara were level eight minutes later thanks to a Montabello header.

Just before the hour mark Falcone was first to a rebound from keeper Bonello to put B’Kara in front for the first time.

They held on to that lead to go top and leave Hamrun wondering where their first win will come from.

A wicked deflection from a Campos strike late in the first half was enough to give Valletta three points against Balzan.

On Sunday Hibernians take on Gudja Utd and Santa Lucia play Gzira Utd.
