A new child protection center was opened which is part of the new Qawra Primary School, so now this locality also has a modern and equipped center to receive children from this locality. The official opening was made by Education Minister Justyne Caruana.
“This new center is the result of the synergy that exists between all those involved so that we can all work together to truly have a qualitative education,” said Minister Caruana. “This is the government’s commitment, to continue to strengthen services for children, not only by opening new centers, but to be services with high standards to continue to achieve our goals, along with measures to we announced a few days ago that we will be extending the opening hours of the centers, including on Saturdays. ”
The ‘Ix-Xemx’ childcare center is the 13th center of the Foundation for Educational Services, which currently together hosts around 400 children.
