Enemalta has postponed all non-essential scheduled power cuts until after the ongoing midsummer heatwave has passed, as demand for electricity reached a record high on Monday.
The company has listed on its website a number of localities where power cuts were planned but in view of the current heatwave across the islands, Enemalta has since announced that the cuts will be postponed until temperatures fall back to normal.
