Malta recognises Covid-19 vaccine certificates from another group of countries

The Health and Tourism Authorities notify that as from today, 21st July 2021, Malta will officially recognise the digital Covid-19 vaccine certificates of Serbia, Gibraltar, Jersey, and Guernsey.

The vaccine certificates will be recognised by vaccines approved by the European Medicines Authority, which shall be a full course and 14 days after the last dose.

Currently Malta is recognising the digital vaccine certificates of the EU, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America record card.

As from 1st August 2021, the United States CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card will need to be verified through a specific app to be acceptable as a valid vaccination certificate.
