A joint operation between the Qormi and Paola District Police led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man from Ħal Għargħur, after allegedly committing a number of thefts from vehicles in Qormi, Luqa and Paola.
The cases took place between June 6 and 17, 2021, when tools, documents were stolen from the vehicles and money.
Some vehicles were damaged.
Investigations also revealed that the arrested person also allegedly committed theft from an office in Luqa.
The man was arrested while the Qormi District Police were watching a suspicious person in the vicinity of Triq l-Iljun, Ħal Qormi, as he was allegedly trying to steal from some vehicles .
