A cease-fire between Israel and Palestine came into effect on Friday ending 11 days of conflict that claimed the lives of more than 250 people.
This latest outbreak of fighting between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza began on 10 May after weeks of rising Israeli-Palestinian tension in East Jerusalem.
Those tensions erupted in fighting at al-Aqsa, a holy site revered by both Muslims and Jews.
Hamas, the Palestinian militant group began firing rockets into Israel which then launched air strikes against Gaza.
