Minister for Finance and Employment Clyde Caruana paid a visit to the European Commission.
He was welcomed by Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of an Economy that works for People, and Commissioner for Trade, Paolo Gentiloni, European Commissioner for Economy, and Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability, and Capital Markets Union.
Various topics were discussed at these meetings, including the Recovery and Resilience Fund (RRF), the national airline Air Malta, the economic and financial situation of Malta and the European context, together with several other topics that affect our country closely.
