The Government is welcoming the Ornis recommendation to open the quail hunting season in the spring from 10 April to 30 April from 2 hours before sunrise until noon, including among on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays.
The national quota for this season is 2,400 quails and there will be no individual quota.
Quail hunting is in itself a solitary activity. All directives that have been issued and can continue to be issued by health authorities are applicable to everyone, including this sector.
The Government reiterates its call for quail hunting only and everyone must abide by the parameters of the law.
