Opposition MP Karol Aquilina has stepped down as Shadow Justice Spokesman as he faces police charges over an alleged driving incident in 2019.
In video footage shown on ONE TV programme Pjazza, host Karl Stango Navarro claimed that Aquilina while driving, continuously ignored police instructions and was seen blocking the path of a ministerial car which had a police escort.
Karol Aquilina said he is innocent and will contest the charges in court
