I expect to be arrested in coming days: Keith Schembri

Keith Schembri, former chief of staff to Joseph Muscat, has posted on Facebook that he expects to be arrested in the coming days.

“A few more days I am waiting to be charged. Not because I committed a crime. For the establishment, the “crime” of which I am guilty is my role as part of a team led by Joseph Muscat that led to a series of electoral victories for the Party I love so much”.

He wrote a lengthy post citing the conclusions of a magisterial inquiry into allegations that Adrian Hillman, a former managing director of Allied Newspapers, received €650,000 in bribes from Schembri through a company in the British Virgin Islands.
