A goal in each half by Ailton Jorge dos Santos Soares helped Hamrun ease past ten-men Gudja and go back on top of the Premiership, two above Hibs who earlier romped past Valletta.
Gudja, already two goals down, had Thomas Veronese sent off mid-day through the second half as Hamrun piled on the pressure.
Substitute Seydou Doumbia made it 3-0 before Gudja pulled one back, Gabriel Mensah on the stroke of normal time but the points were already in the bag for the Spartans.
