Dar Tal-Providenza has rejected a €500,000 donation made by former PN leader Adrian Delia on behalf of CATCO Group after its chairman failed to verify the validity of the cheque, according to reports in various Maltese media.
The donation was made during the annual New Year’s Day fundraiser by Dar tal-Providenza.
The Catco group were believed to be interested in investing in Sliema Wanderers football club but so far nothing has materialised.
