Premier leaders Hamrun Spartans take on Valletta tonight aiming to maintain top spot.
Second placed Hibernians, two points below, play Gudja Utd.
Last Sunday Hamrun had to dig deep and come from two goals down to win a point against Santa Lucia. That kept them 2points clear of title rivals Hibernians. Tonight, (6.30PM) they can expect a tough examination against a Valletta side getting back to match fitness after an enforced layoff due to Covid-19.
Hibernians need to beat Gudja, (5PM), to keep up the pressure on Hamrun but they will have to show improvement on their last outing, a 1-1 draw against Floriana. Gudja, like Valletta, are in mid-table and recent results show they are no push-over.
Two big games tonight that could see a change at the top or could see Hamrun extend their lead.
Plenty for their supporters to get excited about even if they cannot be at the ground.
