Bars and clubs will remain closed in February, Prime Minister Robert Abela announced.
He said that further restrictions would be announced in the coming days especially with the carnival period in mind.
Prime Minister Abela did say that a lockdown and a curfew would not be introduced but the government is fully committed to combating Covid-19.
