After days of investigations by the Police of the Counter-Terrorism Squad in connection with information of an alleged abduction, today, the police carried out an operation in Ħal Safi and in Zurrieq and five men were arrested, four Syrians and a Libyan.
The men are expected to be brought to court tomorrow. Police investigations are ongoing.
