A new police station inaugurated at Malta International Airport


Minister for the Interior, National Security and Law Enforcement Byron Camilleri and Commissioner of
Police Officer Angelo Gafà inaugurated a new Police station inside the International Airport of Malta after modernisation.

The new station offers more security and privacy to anyone seeking police services. The investment was made by Malta International Airport as part of the renovation project which is being done at the airport.

Minister Camilleri explained how the works carried out will allow the members of the Police Force who working there to have a more appropriate and welcoming environment. “The inauguration of the new station at the airport is the latest in a series of investments being made in the Police Corps. This station is a sensitive one that sees many different people, so it was a must which reflects the realities in which officials work, ”stressed the Minister.

Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà reiterated the Corps’ commitment to improving the environment not only for its employees but also for members of the public who need use the police services. The Commissioner has promised to continue working to improve the environment of police workplaces so that they provide a more efficient and more effective service, while also thanking the Chief Executive Officer of Malta International Airport Alan Borg for his collaboration in this investment.
