The Ministry of Health has confirmed that two elderly people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 73-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on December 25, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, an 81-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on January 2, died this morning at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls for us to remain vigilant and observe all preventive measures, including social distance, wearing masks and the washing of hands .
