As of Tuesday, 22 December 2020, there will be a mandatory 14-day quarantine requirement for flights arriving in Malta from the United Kingdom. This is in light of the new variant of COVID-19 that has been found in patients in the UK.
This decision is a temporary one because Maltese Health Authorities are closely following developments in the United Kingdom while participating in discussions with the European Union on this situation.
