Prime Minister Robert Abela this morning inaugurated the second phase of the Ta’ Qali Basketball Sports Pavilion with an investment of around € 1,000,000.
This international level facility is one of many projects in the field of sports that aim to further improve the level of sport in the country.
At the inauguration, Prime Minister Robert Abela said he was very proud of the work done and stressed the importance of sport to build a society with strong, compassionate and disciplined values.
“What struck me most was the fact that this arena is accessible to people with disabilities both as spectators but also equipped for people with disabilities to play the game of basketball,” said the Prime Minister.
