The Ministry of Health has confirmed that five elderly people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 77-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 10, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, a 74-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 22, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the third case, an 80-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 22, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the fourth case, an 80-year-old woman, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on November 17, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the fifth case, a 91-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 26, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls for everyone to follow the preventive measures so that only we can protect the most vulnerable in our society.
