The Ministry of Health has confirmed that three elderly people died after contracting Covid-19.
In the first case, a 70-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 16, died yesterday at the St Vincent de Paul residence.
In the second case, a 73-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 1, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the third case, an 80-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on November 6, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering condolences to the families of the elderly, calls on everyone to follow the preventive measures.
