President-elect Joe Biden has strengthened his lead in the US elections with many news stations projecting that he has won Georgia and its 16 electoral votes to bring his tally to 306 electoral votes.
President Donald Trump is still claiming the voting was rigged and maintains he won the election. He is projected to win North Carolina which will give him 232 electoral votes but well behind Democrat Joe Biden.
