Democrat Vice-President Joe Biden is still leading in the race for the White House but with key states still to finish counting ballots, political observers say it is still too close to call.
Biden is still up in Arizona and Nevada and has narrowed the gap in Georgia where Trump’s lead has been reduced to less than 2,000. In Pennsylvania a once 600,000 lead has been whittled down to just 22,000. Trump has North Carolina but with the gaps closing in Georgia and Pennsylvania, and votes still to count, the race is so tight that main US tv news stations are still not calling the result.
