Ministry of Health reports that two people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 63-year-old man, who was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on October 12 and was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the same day. He died on Wednesday at Mater Dei hospital. He was suffering from another chronic illness.
In the second case, an 83-year-old man tested positive on November 1. He died earlier Wednesday at Monte Carmel Hospital where the elderly man was a resident and continued to be treated.
The Ministry of Health offers its condolences to the relatives and calls on the people to continue to follow the preventive measures, including wearing masks everywhere, social distance and hand washing.
