The Ministry of Health has confirmed that a 54-year-old man died after testing positive for Covid-19.
The man was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on October 25 and was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the same day. The man died earlier today in the Intensive Care Unit at Mater Dei Hospital.
He was suffering from another chronic illness.
The Ministry of Health offers its condolences to the relatives of the elderly and reminds of the preventive measures, including wearing a mask everywhere, social distance and hand washing.
