Ministry of Health is informed that a 75-year-old man, was suffering from another chronic illness, died earlier today after testing positive for Covid-19.
The man tested positive for Covid-19 on October 23 and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital earlier today, where he died shortly afterwards.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, keeping the physical distance and the use of the mask everywhere.
