Birżebbuġa has long been demanding a shore to ship facility and in the budget it was announced that the government have reached the next step.
As Ministry of Tourism a few weeks ago we completed all the necessary studies. The purpose of the shore to ship facility is to help reduce air pollution in the Freeport. Now the Ministry of Tourism will apply for European funds to start the process for this technology
