Labour MP Etienne Grech has resigned from Parliament citing personal reasons.
Grech, a doctor, was first elected in 2013 and the by a casual election in the forth district in 2017.
In a statement the Labour Party thanked him for his work in parliament and announced that a casual election would now be held in the fourth district to fill the empty seat in parliament.
