MUMN call off industrial action

Industrial action by nurses at health centres has been called off after the MUMN and the Health Division reached agreement on food and leave allowances granted to the Nurse and Midwives working in clinics and Health Centres.

President of the Union of Nurses and Midwives, Paul Pace said the Union was immediately withdrawing industrial action in all hospitals, so that nurses could administer the flu vaccine, which is being given free of charge at all health clinics and centres in Malta and Gozo.
