86-Year-old woman dies from Covid-19: Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health has just been informed that an 86-year-old woman died after testing positive for Covid-19.

The elderly woman tested positive for Covid-19 on 30 August and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the same day. She was transferred to St Thomas Hospital on September 2 and then to Mater Dei Hospital on September 5. She died at the IDU, at Mater Dei Hospital, overnight.

She had further health conditions.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, appeals for the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health.
