The Ministry of Health has just been informed that an 85-year-old man who had tested positive for coronavirus has passed away.
He tested positive for Covid-19 on August 26 and was admitted to hospital on September 1 as his condition began to deteriorate. He died earlier this morning at the IDU at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health.
