A 45-year-old German woman has been arrested by the Police Drugs Squad after investigations revealed that she imported drugs, allegedly, for trafficking.
Investigations started after The Customs Department informed the police about the shipment of 2 packages which contained 4 jars filled with substance suspected of being cannabis, which were addressed to the woman.
Earlier today, officers arrested the woman at her apartment in Sliema. There the police found 6 more jars filled with substance suspected of being cannabis, drug related items and around €8,000 in cash.
