Thousands of people may miss out on a summer holiday after Easyjet announced they will be cancelling all package holidays due to quarantine rules, according to reports in English newspapers.
Last night, Thursday, August 13, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office announced non-essential travel to France, Malta and the Netherlands would be banned.
From 4am on Saturday, August 15 anyone arriving in the UK from those countries will be required to quarantine for 14 days.
The new restrictions follow a similar ban on travel to Spain and Portgual.
