Malta will soon start testing some passengers arriving from high-risk destinations for COVID-19, Health Minister Chris Fearne has announced.
Deputy Prime Minister Fearne said that arriving passengers would be asked to provide a certificate showing they had been tested within 48 hours before landing in Malta.
If unable to provide a certificate passengers would have to have a swab test and if they refused to do so would have to undergo a period of quarantine.
He was speaking on TVM programme Rasimbras.
