Parliamentary Secretary for Equality and Reforms Rosianne Cutajar presented Parliament Speaker Angel Farrugia and Whips Glenn Bedingfield and Robert Cutajar pins with a symbol of the ‘Blue Heart’ campaign against human trafficking.
The Parliamentary Secretary stressed that, “together as politicians, we must be at the forefront of fighting this crime and set an example.” She called for these pins to be worn in order to raise the necessary knowledge about human trafficking.
Malta officially joined the ‘Blue Heart Campaign’ on 23 July – an international awareness-raising campaign to improve global efforts in our fight to prevent human trafficking and the impact of this phenomenon on society.
