A collision between a car and a motorbike on Aviation Road in Luqa has claimed the life of the motorcyclist.
The dead man has been named as 38-year old Barry Zammit from Hamrun.
According to reports the motorcyclist ran into the back of a car being driven by a 19-year old.
Police say the accident happened shortly after 6pm.
