The Maltese song for JESC 2016 has been premiered along with its official video clip. Christina Magrin will perform the song “Parachute” in her motherland, Malta on 20 November.
The lyrics of her song “Parachute” were written by Matt ‘Muxu’ Mercieca who has recently written a range of other Maltese entries including the winning songs of Gaia Cauchi (2013) and Destiny Chukunyere (2015). Mercieca also wrote Federica Falzon’s song (2014), and the Maltese entry for Eurovision Song Contest (2015) performed by Amber.
Christina will perform “Parachute” on 20 November at the Mediterranean Conference Centre of Valletta and the show will be hosted by Ben Camille and Valerie Vella.
